Judy Mizrachi - Founder
Judy Mizrachi established HiRoad Adventures in an effort to offer visitors an Israel adventure, something that most tourists do not experience. Having lived in Israel for a number of years in her youth, her most profound and meaningful memories were of walking and trekking Israel. Seven years ago, Judy participated in a traditional tour of Israel and was struck by the number of times people were herded on and off the bus without spending any significant amount of time in places that begged to be explored and enjoyed. She wanted to create an "Israel adventure" one that was more interactive and that would impact each and every participant's life in a powerful and meaningful way: by seeing the country in a more slow paced, ambling fashion, enjoying the quiet beauty and the incredible geography that silently tell the stories of Israel's fascinating past.
Beni Levin - Head Guide
Beni arrived in Israel at the age of 8 from the former Soviet Union. His love of the land of Israel was nurtured in the Yeshiva (religious high school) that he attended which combined a biblical and secular education with eco-studies. Growing up in the southern town of Mizpe Ramon, which sits on the beautiful Ramon Crater, Beni developed a love of exploration and of nature through hiking the incredible paths that were right in his backyard. At the age of 19 he began offering informal tours around the country. Realizing the joy he experienced when leading a tour, Beni decided to make this his avocation and became a licensed tour guide. For the past 11 years he has given participants a true "Israel adventure": one filled with intimacy, emotion, fun and learning. Besides guiding, he handpicks each and every guide for HiRoad ADVENTURE, to ensure that they have the same philosophy in offering an "Israel adventure."
