Summer Tour July 13-22, 2011 Itinerary Wed. July 13- Tour begins at 8:00 AM in Tel Aviv. Group will be transported up north where we will begin our first hike from Stella Maris to Elijah's cave. Stop for lunch and then our second hike will be to Har Arbel. Dinner at Dag Al HaDan. Overnight: North Thurs. July 14- We will begin our day with a hike at either Har Meron or Nachal Amud. We will then visit Ma'a lot Tarshicha for a swim and go kayaking on the Jordan River. Dinner at Pekiin with Druze hospitality Overnight: North Fri. July 15- Our hike will be Nahal Zavitan after which we will visit Har Bental and Emek Ha'Bacha viewing a movie of the Yom Kipur War in the kibbutz nearby. Last, a swim in the kineret. Dinner at Kibbutz Overnight: Kibbutz (as above) Sat. July 16- We will hike Nahal Yehudiah, Nahal Hakibutzim and then spend some time in Sahne. Later in the evening we'll enjoy the warm mineral springs of Hamat Gader with dinner there Overnight: Jerusalem Sun. July 17- We'll wake early and begin our descent down to Jerusalem. The day will begin at a look out on Har Hatzofim. The day will be spent visiting the City of David and Hezekiah's tunnels, Jewish Quarter and Old City. At night we will visit the Kotel tunnels. Overnight: North Mon. July 18- We'll begin the day with a visit to Har Herzl and visit some of the newer neighborhoods in Jerusalem and then head down to Ein Gedi. Overnight: Dead Sea Region Tues. July 19- Masada and then rest of day relaxation at Ein Gedi Spa. Overnight: Dead Sea Region Wed. July 20- Hike all of Nahal Arugot. pool. Cookout and campfire in evening. Overnight: Dead Sea Thurs. July 21- Negev hike- Ein Ovdat and head to Tel Aviv. Overnight: Tel Aviv Friday- July 22- Departure anytime today Fri- July 22-26- Optional Add On: Petra and hiking the amazing canyons of Jordan.
